Tags are used to control visibility and access to advisors and providers. If a user has been tagged, they will be able to see available meetings from an advisor who has the same Tag attached. If a provider has been tagged, all advisors who are associated with that provider are also effectively tagged in the same way.
This system allows for very flexible grouping. All user types can have multiple tags, and visibility will be enabled if at least one tag exists both for the standard user (Booker) and the Advisor.
If a provider has no tags, they are available to all. However, specific advisors could still have tags attached that will filter them out individually. Conversely, an advisor with no tags will be visible to all unless their provider has tags that filter them out.
If a user (booker) has no tags, they will be able to see all advisors.
You can quickly organise your available tags from Other Views → Tags
From here you can add a new Tag using the action button at the top right. If you click the title of a Tag in the list view, you will see all the details related to that Tag.
From this page you can quickly add a Tag to multiple providers, advisors and users using the Edit buttons on each column:
This will open an edit window where you can rapidly edit the records that have that Tag attached.
For convenience, the Users page for Advisors will also show tags that are associated with an individual Advisor, but also show those tags that the Advisor inherits from their Provider record.
