Two Factor Authentication
Meeting Booker supports 2fa in conjunction with an Authenticator app such as Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy etc.
Each user will have to enable 2fa for their MB account and add a linked Authenticator. The process is started by the Setup 2FA option on the Profile Settings at the right hand end of the top menu bar.
Once Activate is pressed, the user must use two factor authentication to log in thereafter. They should immediately scan the QR code into an Authenticator app before logging out of the current session.
This screen can be shown again at any time by reselecting Setup 2FA from the Profile Settings
If your user account has the relevant permissions, the status of 2FA for each user can be seen on the Users page (you may need to expand additional columns if you are on a narrow screen with the icon).
Here also, the 2FA requirement can be reset on a case by case basis by selecting Manage User, followed by Setup 2FA on the popup screen, where permissions allow.
If a user has already enabled 2fa, the Setup 2FA form will allow them to rescan a QR code into an Authenticator app. If the currently logged in user has relevant permissions, usually admin level, they can also clear the existing 2fa status for the user.
